The Illinois Sheriffs' Association is supporting Representative John Cavaletto for re-election to the Illinois House. Founded in 1928, the Illinois Sheriffs' Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to create better communication and cooperation between Sheriffs, professional training and growth for Sheriffs and their support teams. The Association also supports various youth-oriented programs like "Meth Project" to educate teens and young adults about the dangers of methamphetamine.
The Illinois College of Emergency Physicians, through its Emergency Medicine PAC of Illinois, is supporting State Representative John Cavaletto for election to the General Assembly in the 107th district. John is an avid pheasant hunter and has wonderful bird dog named Burrell. Representative Cavaletto was a leader on fighting for a concealed carry law in Illinois and fought for a paper application option for citizens who do not use computers. John and his wife, Connie, have booth taken and passed the Concealed Carry Training.
The Grain and Feed Legislative Council for Better Government (Grain & Feed Association of Illinois) which represents nearly 200 grain and feed companies across Illinois, from country and terminal grain elevators, grain brokers, feed dealers, feed manufacturers, truckers, ethanol plants, and both corn and soybean processors. The industry directly employs over 5,000 people. The Association also has over 160 members allied to the grain and feed industry. They include construction companies, banks, accounting firms, equipment suppliers, futures brokers, insurance companies and others, resulting in approximately 4,900 additional people indirectly employed by the grain and feed industry.
